Bingyu Xiang, Director of Product Development of SMIT, will attend the seminar and introduce SMIT CI+ V1.4 CAMs. “New features of CI+ V1.4 CAMs enable the delivery of IPTV straight to television sets without the need for a set-top box.” said Bingyu Xiang. “The CI Plus v1.4 CAM includes new features such as the ability to route high-bandwidth IP streams through the CAM and the ability to control those IP streams, extended CI Plus browser, the handling of multiple encrypted streams (multi stream), Online Service Descriptor Table (OSDT), and support for IP multicast. We will have an introduction of this new CAM at IPTV Seminar 2014. ”

IPTV Seminar 2014

IPTV seminar 2014 is the second edition. The first edition was held in 6-7 November, 2013, with a complete focus on Set top Box-less IPTV. 120 experts from 18 countries joined the two day seminar. The Seminar sought to answer business and technical questions surrounding the delivery of IP Television services directly to the TV set, without a separate box. This topic is very relevant for triple play telecom operators seeking to cut their cost. Based on participant responses and an excellent evaluation, IPTV seminar 2014 is organised.
